Jordan Knox, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician fellowship-trained in sports medicine.
Board-certified physicians are credentialed by a board that has determined the provider demonstrates a high level of expertise in their field. Fellowship-trained physicians have additional specialized training beyond their required residency training
Dr. Knox sees patients of all ages at Kettering Health Springfield.
He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2015 and completed afamily medicine residency and his sports medicine fellowship at the University of Utah. Dr. Knox is skilled at using diagnostic ultrasound and image-guided injections. He enjoys teaching medical students and resident physicians, and he is a leader in the musculoskeletal-sports medicine educational collaborative with the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine.
In his free time, Dr. Knox likes to spend time with his family and play with his Bernese mountain dogs, ski, camp, and cheer on his favorite sports teams. He enjoys baking and trying out new dinner recipes.

From sprains, strains, joint pain, and broken bones to high blood pressure, birth control, and health check-ups, Dr. Knox is experienced in primary care with expertise in non-operative musculoskeletal care and the evaluation and management of sport-related injury and illness.
